Bedrooms
Named after the dales and woodlands surrounding the hamlet of Oldstead, we have nine guest bedrooms at the Black Swan; each designed and furnished with a stylish mix of character and luxury. You can retreat to your room after dinner for a relaxing night’s sleep and then set the next morning off with a proper Yorkshire breakfast, Black-Swan style.
None of our guest bedrooms are located within the main building of the Black Swan and are instead situated across the road within Ashberry House, or overlooking the peaceful landscapes of our restaurant garden.

Room Rates
We only offer overnight stays in conjunction with our tasting menu dinner and breakfast. When you make a room reservation, a table is automatically reserved in the restaurant. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Two-Night Dining Experiences
Introducing our brand-new dining experiences in collaboration with our sister pub The Abbey Inn, now available on Monday & Tuesday night from October and Saturday & Sunday night from January 2024. Stay for two nights in one of our nine Black Swan bedrooms alongside our tasting menu one evening, and a country pub dinner at The Abbey Inn the other – with breakfast served both mornings.
